Campaigns of Combating Hate Speech & Bullying in the Community
Madarat Center seeks to implement campaigns against hate speech and bullying in society. The center has launched several initiatives and campaigns aimed at raising awareness, empowerment, and societal change.
The campaign included numerous activities and events that focused on:
1. Building local alliances that include activists and civil society organizations to combat hate speech and bullying.
2. Organizing training courses for social workers and psychological counselors to equip them to support victims of bullying and hate speech.
3. Developing general guidelines to combat hate speech and bullying in educational and community institutions.
4. Producing and broadcasting awareness-raising radio spots that address bullying issues in society.
5. Producing a short animated film for children that tackles bullying in the community.
6. Creating a children's song to address bullying issues in Palestinian society.
7. Implementing community initiatives and advocacy campaigns through field and school visits.
8. Carrying out advocacy campaigns in several schools in Nablus Governorate to raise awareness about the dangers of bullying and hate speech, particularly in the school environment.
