Combating Hate Speech & Bullying Against Women Campaigns
Madarat Center places great importance on women's rights issues and the fight against all forms of verbal and societal violence against women, including hate speech and gender-based bullying. As part of the "Inclusion 1" project, the center has launched a number of initiatives and campaigns aimed at raising awareness, empowering individuals, and promoting social change.
The campaign included numerous activities and events that focused on:
1. Monitoring and analyzing hate speech against women in both digital and community environments.
2. Conducting awareness workshops on the psychological and social impacts of hate speech.
3. Producing media materials and digital content (videos – posts – radio episodes) that highlight the dangers of this speech.
4. Developing codes of conduct and public policy suggestions to combat hate speech in educational and community institutions.
5. Empowering youth and women to participate in community initiatives to combat hate speech through:
- – Organizing dialogue sessions
- - – Implementing advocacy and support campaigns.
